I was raised by a single mom who could not regularly count on child support. Instead, she worked three jobs and our names often appeared on Angel Trees, food donation lists and every day for her was hard. At the time, I understood how it affected me far more than her. Looking back now, it was the catalyst to learning a different way forward.

I am grateful to be in this industry as it has allowed me to both learn about the power of investing in myself, real estate and other areas to build wealth. I am living proof that focusing on fundamentals like budgeting, paying down debt, saving consistently (even when it feels like there’s nothing leftover) and investing in real estate, bonds, and the stock market can truly change your life.  I know this because someone shared this with me and I want to pass it forward to as many people as I can.
